Orange County Photoshoot Locations (aside from the beach)!
Orange County is knows for it’s beaches, right? But what if you want something outside the box? There are honestly so many hidden gems, and these are just a few of my favorite locations for photoshoots…
O’neill Regional Park
First spot on our list has trees, a creek (when there’s been recent rain), a playground, and a calm road if you want a touch of something other than just nature scenery (bikes, roller-skates, skateboards can be a fun element to add to a photoshoot!)… such a great spot for kids and just so gorgeous when the water is flowing.
2. Canyon Park, Costa Mesa
Canyon Park is a beautiful location year-round. In the spring, you'll find flowers throughout the park, while winter has bare trees that create a simple, timeless look in photos. There’s almost always patches of green, and it's an especially great choice for kiddos who love to explore and be adventurous! The best part is how easy it is to access, making it a great, stress-free option.
3. Peter’s Canyon
Third on the list is a tried-and-true favorite. The only downside to this location is that it involves a bit more walking… but once we hit the trail, there are beautiful photo opportunities around every corner. We’ll stop along the way to capture a variety of scenery. Depending on the season, we’ll find wildflowers and greenery in the spring, or warm golden tones and brush in the fall. Peter’s Canyon is a great choice that never disappoints.
